DOPAG offers special metering and mixing systems for various 3D liquid printing processes. In the SLA (Stereolithography) and DLP / DLS (Digital Light Processing) processes, the dosing system eldomixprecisely meters and mixes two-part materials based on epoxy resin, polyurethane, acrylic or silicone. The prepared material is then manually or automatically filled into the material reservoir of the 3D printer.
In the Stereolithography, the liquid material is converted into solid layer by layer in a process called photopolymerisation. This means that the product is selectively cured by the means of a light source – usually a laser moving on the X and Y axis. SLA is often used in the manufacture of 3D models, prototypes, samples and production parts in various industries, such as prototyping, dental technology, jewellery and modelling. DLP / DLS, on the other hand, uses a digital UV light source to project a singular image of each layer onto the entire platform.
